Realms Asunder is a very early work in progress, more concept than game at this point.
The Concept
The idea is to create a 2D Isometric game with a tactics element akin to Disgaea or Fire Emblem merged with city management aspects, where you build up a small town from scraps.
Different characters of different races will come live in your town based on your choices. Some of them will leave again if they dislike the path you take.
The citizens are also your army. You can take some of them with you on the battlefield, however you need to be carefull. Their different skillsets and abillities might suit different situation. If you choose without though you are going to loose them.
They might die, but you won’t.
There is no Game Over. The game continues. This game is all about your story, your citizens, the relationships you gain (and maybe loose) and the choices you make along the way.
You won’t experience everything in one playthrough, but the story will be yours.
The World
When a new resource, realm stones, where found it changed the world forever. These stones contained the power to open up rifts to new realms, worlds with creatures, races and technology never before seen.
Realm stones became a precious commodity, they caused a surge in scientific progress, but with them they also brought war.
Now the world lies in ruin. Ancient civilizations and technologies lost to time. In a few places, portals build from realm stones still exist, but they lie silent.

The Engine
I’ve been working on my own Isometric Level Editor in Unity.
Made completely in 2D.
Also an in-game editor.
The editors are made to scale with any size of isometric tiles.
I’ve also been working on a conversation system with animated text and choice options.
